Disappointing

Getting the attention of service staff is the toughest and most annoying part of dining and Sun with Moon only made it worst. We had staff giving us the eyeball rolls, talk to my hand gestures (if you are not free to reach to us yet, say so, you have no right to give us a five, and the least you could do was face us when u give the five, which you did none.) and blatantly ignoring us and our orders. The only saving grace was a Filipino staff with a proper service attitude and a smile.

For appetisers, we had Soft Shell Crab and Beef Sukiyaki. The crab was crisp and juicy and the beef Sukiyaki was soft and tender absorbing the aroma of the flavourful soup and heaps of veges to compliment it.

We also ordered the Kani & Karasumi rice (Crab) and Yakiniku rice (Beef). It took 30 mins for it to arrive and the service staff had the nerves to tell us that it takes 15 mins to prepare when it had already been 20. Anyway, the rices were awful. The crab rice was so dry I had to drink a cup of tea after every mouthful. The beef rice on the other hand was soggy.

Desserts were Matcha Tiramisu and Sweet Box (Small portion of matcha tiramisu, jelly and fruits, black sesame mochi and vanilla ice cream) The Matcha Tiramisu didn’t taste any special, but it had a distinctively different flavour to that of the Sweet Box. The sweet box one somewhat lacked in the taste compartment, probably because of its smaller size.. The mochi had a well-defined flavour and nice texture.

They have lots to learn from their Orchard outlet

I also recommend this place for
Type of meal:Dinner
Atmosphere:Quiet/Peaceful, Alfresco/Outdoor Dining

I'm allergic to
Lousy food, crappy service, rundown settings

My last meal would be
A conveyor belt that serve quality small size portions of the thousands of different food I like

When I'm not eating I'm
thinking of the hungry skeletons in Africa and dreaming about how to get rid of the people that disturb my food
