Jumbo Restaurant @ Serangoon Gardens Country Club

I've went there for a dinner wif my family members of 13 paxs on 21st Feb 09 (Sat) to celebrate our 10yrs wedding anniversary day & had booked a private rm wif the karaoke system in advance. I've also bought along 1 btl of fruit red wine + 2 champagne of sparkling wine juices along. There wasn't any cocktail charges onto it although one of the mgr tot me that there was charges if we were to bring 3 btls of red wine & abv but sometimes they can "closed" a eye as well.

When we've reached there, i've tot the waiter that they can serve the table. During the meal, there was a very bad comment on the spring onions wif ginger of the frog legs. All of my family members commented that the dish was very salty & how to eat??? After that, i've complained to one of a waiter & he had apologized to me & tot me that they will re-do a new one instead. Besides that, we've ordered a dish of chilli sambal kang kong & it was rather spicy abit although i've tot the mgr in advance to take note. We've aso ordered some chilli crabs but i was tot that it was nt very spicy cos some of my family members don't take too much of spicy food. At least the chilli & pepper crabs are still acceptable. There was another comment on the yam paste which was too sweet as i've knw that their yam paste was very nice previously as i'm the member of Jumbo Restaurant for quite sometimes. One of the mgr was quite good & came in to check wif me if everything was fine & etc but i've just made some bad comments to her but overall, we could said that the food was still acceptable although the spring onions wif ginger on the frog legs was too much salty & the yam paste was abit sweeter. The mgr tot me that they will keep note on it & said that she would like to give us a complimentary of a plate of some mixed fruits to us.

After all these comments, we will still go back to this restaurant to dine again.
