Great Breakfasts

Lunch / dinner at this place is not really worth mentioning but the breakfast is definitely worth getting your ass out of bed early on a typical, lazy weekend for.

I usually order the waffle set, which comes with cofee/tea, eggs (served sunny side up, scramble, etc, choice is yours), sausages, bacon, and of course the waffle. Maple syrup comes in a tiny plastic container at the side of the plate, which is a little inadequate as the waffle is pretty big. But I suppose they don’t want their customers dying from a heart attack from consuming all that cholesterol so early in the morning.

And if all that wasn’t enough for you, there’s always the free flow bread! I would not recommend looking at the counter where the customers are free to cut out as much of the whole baguette as they so require into the bread baskets provided. I once made that mistake and saw a woman rubbing her hands together profusely after cutting up the bread and a whole lot of um, tiny particles of, I don’t even want to know what, fell onto the rest of the bread on the counter.

I didn’t touch the bread again after witnessing that. On second thought, maybe you should keep a look out of the counter, cut down the risks of food poisoning.

Still, the breakfast is superb. It's $8, slightly more expensive than that of most fast food chains, but the serving is infinitely more generous and it definitely tastes better, too.

The bread counter has always been suspect to me. Your comments just confirms my doubts.

Fair enough, the lasagna tasted amazingly...surprisingly....good...despite looking as if it came straight out of a horror movie.

Dracula would have loved this as much as Mario.
