Out of This World!

The deco and fittings are quirky, the outlet was noisy and the staff can just as well be a robot! All he did was listen to our orders, repeat them and serve us our ice-cream. He didn't spoke an extra word nor did he show any facial expressions, let alone smile. He did redeem himself by letting a female friend of mine try lots of flavours though =]

Enough of my ranting, lets now comment on the ice-cream. It isn't smooth, but where else can you get flavours such as Horlicks, Teh Tarik and Nutella? Legend has it that the boss even experimented with Tiger Beer Gelato (according to the guy in the picture below =P)!

so wat do u expect the robot staff of island creamery to do? "Good Evening! Welcome to Island Creamery! " letting ur female friend try LOTS of flavours is not redeeming himself. its a privilege for u n ur friend. u r welcome to join if u can do a better job then the guy.

Dude, you need to chill.. I based my review on what I experienced and gave a rating that I think is fair. I'm cool if you disagree as you probably had a different experience there. But if the service is not up to standard let's pick up the courage and face the music! You can't expect each and every reviews to be raving about your "favorite" outlet can you? I take pride in all things Singaporean and Island Creamery being a local establishment is no exception! I do believe we can offer just as good if not better service than the "imported" ice-cream bars and I will not settle for anything less. By that I do not mean they have to litterally offer out of this world service. Just a simple "Good evening sir, what can I get for you?" and a little smile would suffice. Is that too much to ask for? I definitely don't think so. Even when ordering noodles at the hawker centre the aunty would ask, "Xiao di, ni yao she mo?" I'm appalled at how you can fail to notice from the title and the way I end off the review that I'm in fact a great fan of Island Creamery. Singling out the criticism and sidestepping all the praises so that you can rant all you want - is that what you do best?
