Love Shin

Shin Kushiya is one of my favourite Japanese restaurants in Singapore. Shin at both Suntec and Vivo City branches are equally good in their quality of food and service. I prefer the one at Vivo because of the sea view.

Shin is better known for their 'kushiyaki' or 'yakitori'. I must say I've never eaten good 'yakitori' in Singapore. Besides the good variety of yakitori that I will usually order, I will always order the salmon sashimi don or the chirashi don for my main course.

I met a friend for lunch at Shin Vivo City just 2 days ago. As I'm usually there for dinner, I didn't know they had a set lunch promotion where you get the 2nd set for half the price when you order the first set.

My chirashi don set which had a variety of fresh raw fish included a small bowl of soup udon and fruits. My friend's unadon was piled up with a generous serving of unagi.

The total bill came up to $39 which we thought was value-for-money for the good meal we had. Thumbs up for Shin!

I also recommend this place for
Type of meal:Lunch, Dinner
Occasion:Large Groups/Gathering, After Work
Atmosphere:View/Scenery
