Power mojitos

Tucked away near "The Clinic" in clarke quay lies this place known as Cuba Libre (somehow, I'm reminded of the Jet Black show "Nacho Libre"). Well, anyway, my friends and I went there for drinks only. It's a nice cosy place that has it's lightings adjusted to the right comfortable levels.

It was rather quiet on the day we went (figured cos it was a weekday) but I'm pretty certain it is somewhere that will be packed on the weekends. So I'm gonna say that it's a quiet place on weekdays and vibrant place on weekends. The mojitos were power man! A lot of mint leaves and strong alcoholic content.

Anyway, after a while, we decided we were hungry and ordered some snacks. We had the vaca fritta and the pizza habana. The vaca fritta is fried beef that is well seasoned. Quite good, but would go better with rice or bread rather than just by itself. The pizza habana is a tortilla wrap which is baked crispy then topped with mozerella / parmesan cheese. Got a melt in your mouth feeling and great for cheese lovers.

Saw a cigar cabinet with a fair range of cigars too. Decor is nice and place has a very casual feel about it. Would recommend for chill-out.

I also recommend this place for
Type of meal:Supper/Night Dining, Lunch, Dinner
Occasion:Large Groups/Gathering, Boys Night Out, Girls Night Out, Chillout
Atmosphere:Quiet/Peaceful, Vibrant/Noisy, Live Music
