| Bad experience
I'm very surprised they get fully booked during night time. Its a crowded place.
Charges $9 for mineral water because they refuse to serve tap water.
Which is ridiculous. There is no reason to not serve tap water. We don't live in China or UK or USA where tap water sucks crap in taste if its even potable.
Bread is charge for a whopping $4.50, god knows why. Nothing special about the bread.
Food.
I heard a ton of bad reviews here and 1 good review.
I'll be straight.
It depends on what you order.
Avoid their pasta period. pastamania or aglio olio does it way better at half price.
Their meat dishes seem different though.
I called their bacon, ham pork dish (forgot the name). Very saltish but was still a decent dish. Flavourful, tender. Was a bit small though.
Some roasted chicken and beef steak also turned out not bad. Juicy and tender, flavour was balanced.
But prices were simply too expensive.
Service was simply shit. There was this china guy who sucks like hell. He doesn't speak english for one, super fucking 'i don't give a damn' attitude.
We ordered wine and people will ALWAYS pour it nicely, slowly, elegantly. This China jackass simple dumped the wine to the glasses and spilled alot.
It wine bitch. Not tap water(sorry you don't serve). 80$ for a bottle ain't what you call cheap.
Overall, its a bad experience although the food turned out to be good for certain range of dishes its overpriced by a good margin.
I think the crowd that forms there probably knew all these hidden costs and stuff and avoid them.
When you learn to avoid all these things it can be a good experience.
Just my opinion. |
