| Baby cafe
Our nick for the cafe... why? cos you'll always see some tai tai sipping coffee with their babies in pram at the cafe.
Soup of the day was pumpkin soup, but I think it's more like pumpkin puree. Looks and tastes like baby food. Ppl who love pumpkin will like this.
Had a variety of sandwiches. The beef sandwich was very good. There's this sweet sweet sauce that goes very well with the thinly sliced beef. We also had vegemite, scrambled egg, hummus and avocado with their signature toasted ciabatta bread. It's really the bread that makes the sandwich real yummy.
We also had the chicken and avocado saald. Nothing much to rave about. But the chicken, avocado and almond flakes are pretty generous.
And here comes the sticky date pudding. It's something like date moist cake sandwiched by a generous serving of vanilla ice-cream, covered in some toffee like sauce. Very sweet but addictive. Big enough for 5 of us to share.
Service is prompt but seats are quite limited. Be prepared to wait. |
