A Restaurant and More

1942 Alfresco@Changi is a bar c** restaurant c** War Museum serving Asian-Western Fusion Cuisine. Sit tight and join us in our educational and gastronomical   journey to this fantastic place @ http://musings-of-a-rabbit.blogspot.sg/2014/02/1942-alfrescochangi-revival-of-1940s.html soon! >>> photos of the War Museum, Venue and Foodies displayed on my blog review :)

The kitchen was helmed by Chef Francis Tan, a multi-award winning chef who is certified by SHATec and has over 8 years of experience in Shangri-La Hotel, it is no wonder that the food served was so tasty.   Despite being a veteran chef in Chinese and French Cuisine, Chef Francis is a very sincere, amiable and humble man who is willing to listen to his diners' feedbacks and improvise on his dishes based on the feedbacks received.

Not worth the effort - today is public holiday but no excuse for sloppy service. Long hair waitress has floppy hair and should be tied up.

Eggs. They come in all shapes, sizes, colours and varieties: white, brown, free range, barn-laid, small, large and extra large. Some come with Omega 3, others with selenium and carrot. We makes sense of it all.
What to Eat
Bingsu ice shavings, sweet rice cakes and toasts invade the cafes here. Not typically offered in traditional Korean meals, desserts are served only during special occasions as refreshments, but in Singapore, the tables are turned
What to Drink
Singapore’s Chinatown is spilling over with good food and drinks: from top-notch fine dining to hawker centre stalwarts, cocktails to traditional regional staples. Here’s where to get what
What to Eat
Have fun with food as foreplay, and these items are easily bought at supermarkets. Just be mindful of allergies (gas and rashes are no fun) and be prepared to sacrifice the sheets
