With so many awards and pictures, it's hard to miss this stall and more certainly, the laksa you will not want to miss.
I am not a fan of cockles so i ordered the version without them. The thick and flavorful gravy together with the right texture beehoon and prawns that are cooked just right, this dish is well worthy of being a national icon.
Chilli is a bit on the sour side though not very spicy and add it only if you need your daily dose of spice. The laksa leaves gives the laksa an added depth so add them if you prefer a more intense flavour.
Overall, the best Katong laksa and definitely one of the better, if not the best, in Singapore.
