Overrated

We went there for Father's Day lunch. They only had a set menu, but the set menu looks good at first. Good thing was the free flow of fresh oysters and korobuta pate. Everything that follow after was disappointing. The wild mushroom soup had no flavor, the foie gras was prepared with soft boil egg, which I felt that was a waste of foie gras coz the soft boil egg yolk over powered the little bits of foie gras.   The scallops were ok, but again it seems that there were not enough flavor. Beef flank was passable. Dessert was the biggest disappointment. Crepe Suzette is suppose to be a French specialty and yet it failed with a standard like the chef that made it had his first lesson in making crepe.  On the whole, it was too much to pay at $88++ per person for sub-standard French food. I seriously have tasted much better.
