The lobster bisque was really enjoyable with good colour and flavour, the French onion soup was nicely presented but was very very sweet, would prefer to be a little piquant. The pan roasted scallops were ok but not as good as plump NZ scallops with roe on. The beef cheek was beautifully cooked but the jus lacked flavour, very disappointing. The citron tarte was intense and well presented with meringue sticks to balance out the sharpness of the lemon. Would I return? Probably not.
I spent $130 per person.
