The vibe and feel of the entire "coffeeshop" where DeBurg is located, was simply different. It is not the usual vibrant coffeeshop with a main drinks stall and many local dish stalls. Instead here, you have the stall selling german fare, a stall selling alcohol, another selling bubble tea/coffee of sorts... and the rest of the shop was cold.
Staff of DeBurg were sitting around without many customers to handle. Place your order and make payment at the counter. You will be called when your food is ready. Don't expect any form of service whatsoever here.
Well, I must say the burgers were worth the trip and wait! The meat, we ordered a variety from beef burgers to chicken, to pork, was well marinated and cooked through. The beef was done just right (medium well).
Loved the fries too.
Burgers here are so huge, we were wondering just how to start attacking the buns without having everything else spill out from every other corner possible. Burgers are best savoured when eaten with your bare hands huh?
Not a coffeeshop for a view. Though, its peaceful setting makes good for a night to chill.
