Situated at a coffe shop in Serangoon North. Not much of ambience but is quiet and breezy as is facing a open space. Food is the main thing that draws me & my hubby there almost twice a week. Highly recommeded is the "Marbled Beef" done medium in hot plate (to your preference). Meat is soft and pink inside with lots of onions as condiments. Side dish could varies from baked potato, spaghetti or fires which comes together with the beef. Additional 2 sides (cold & hot from several selections). This is really value for $$$ at $28 which really always filled my stomach with utmost satisfaction. Another favourites of mine is their mushroom soup not forgetting to order the garlic bread to go along - the perfect combination yummy. I love their fried snacks too - fried raw oysters which is raw inside with crispy batter wrap outside & fried to perfection. Fried mushrooms which is juicy when bite into. I love their grill pork chops, grilled fish, lamb chops with rosemary. There's so much to explore and each time, Lava rock never fail me. Forget to mention the excellent staff & great service, they are always helpful. Last but not least, do drop by to see & eat for yourself.
