Lava Edge , a really nice place to chill out, with live band & the singer had pretty decent voice. Thumbs up to the two singers last night! Lava Edge is located 'outside' Changi City Point. That area outside Changi City Point is also known as The Oasis! It's pretty happening over there at night, you be shocked to see a mini version of Clark Quay :) Pop by an take a look if you are at Changi City Pt doing some shopping! 
 

This is a quick review for lunch at Lavaedge in Changi CIty Point.

It is in a strip of restaurants in the Oasis area of the mall.

I held a team lunch here. It was a group of around 15 to 20.

Lavaedge is very middle of the road. They offer a choice of set menus for lunch.

The menu has a number of basic western staples. My food and that of my colleagues was decent. But, there is certainly nothing that stands out about it.

I had a steak sandwich. It was average. It was not particulary hot. It didn't have that just off the grill sizzle to it. The meat was a bit dry. They were also stingy with the steak. Afterall, it is a "steak" sandwich.

For others, the fish 'n chips seemed to be a popular option. Folsk seemed to like them but noone raved about them. To me, the portion seemed a tad on the small side.

The apple crumble dessert was quite enjoyable.

The ambiance is clean and modern. Fir the most part, the service is friendly and professional. There were a couple of mistakes in food delivery and preparation. These were rectified in a timely manner.

If you need a basic lunch, this place will do the trick. It is not particularly inexpensive. But, I suppose it will not completely break your wallet in half either. If you need a place to make an impression, I would look elsewhere.

Did a corporate event at the place. Ambience and environment is okay.. However the food and overall service is VERY DISAPPOINTING. :(

Supposed to be a free flow of food between the agreed time window - however, food ran out within 60mins into the event!!

Attempts to salvage the situation was paltry (at best)... e.g. Served one more tray of fries etc...

Overall very disappointing experience... If you want to try this place, do it at your own risk - i will definitely AVOID this place like a plague.
