Moo Bar & Grill 21 McCallum Street #01-06 The Clift Tel: 6634 2662 Open daily from 9am to 11pm Offers and Privileges • 1-for-1 Seafood Combo Platter when you pay with DBS credit cards Promotion Period 01-Mar-2013 to 28-Feb-2014 Inspired by the great Australian barbecues or the “Bar-B” as it is known Down Under, the menu revolves around the grill. As they say “To get a great piece of grilled meat, first you have to get a great cut”. So Moo Bar & Grill puts great effort into selecting the freshest ingredients and the best cut for that perfect grill. And to go with that perfect steak or ribs, they serve the most popular beers on tap and delicious affordable wines. This enclosed sunlit corner opposite Amoy Street Food Centre is mostly about the grill, although pastas, sandwiches, braised Kurobuta pork belly and margaritas make an appearance on the menu. Everything, from sardines ($15) to prime rib (600g, $95), is charred over the fire, to be munched with a selection of over 30 cocktails. Doors open before most of the population starts work – so if you’re sick of those kaya toast brekkies, try eggs Benedict ($8), grilled steak panini sandwich ($12) and pancakes and sausages ($8). I was curious how this restaurant could have so many reviews and, more surprisingly, so many positive reviews. So I took a closer look. Almost all the positive reviews are by people who have only ever written one review (i.e., for this restaurant). Those who have written two reviews have written them for (you guessed it) this restaurant. It's obvious that the owners are creating fake profiles and writing fake reviews. I was fooled. Please learn from my mistake. This restaurant is not good. And apparently it's also not ethical. So stay far away.
Well, one for one deal and drink all you want for $25, great deals but awful lousy crowd, disappointing food and well, just a corner bar with outdoor sitting is not really a great place to spend an evening in Telok Ayer.
moo bar and grill is located at the clift. i did not know that this place existed until my friend who brought me there we ordered truffle mash, beer can chicken and the truffle mash was nice as well as the steak therefore the name of the place.
This is a really good place for the working population to hang out at after work on a weekday or during the weekend by which you can enjoy house pours and other alcoholic drinks and wines while also choosing to taste and consume some of their awesome meats that they have on offer. As with their ship name, go for their steak and you can never be wrong. The setup and layout of the place is pretty smooth and classic and my partner and I enjoyed ourselves throughly on the one and only visit which we paid to this place so far. Nevertheless, we will probably be making another trip back to this place some other time to try out some of the other items and drinks that they have on their menu
