don't know where they get the chef from but the food here doesn't cut it - russian? not a chance ... now i've had good okroshka, pelmeni and shashlyk and compared to the offering here it's of very low quality in terms of taste. To be fair the place looks nice, but that's just about it! 

Looks decent enough when you walk in ...untill we had a problem with the food (overburnt) and asked to see the manager. In walks a guy with a  dangerously friendly smile, i asks him if he thought the meat was overburnt ... he replies yah looks like it ... so? wat u gonna do about it? i ask ... Farking nothing! he replies ... we were shocked and so angry by the reply we paid up and left immediately! we later found out that the manager is a new hire and a real SOB in the industry ... never again will we come to this trash place and would recommend that you avoid as well!

Went there on Wednesday! Lights and bar looks decent but service was poor! I ordered 4 whisky cokes and after 15 minutes I walk up to the bartender, who had forgotten about my order! Not much crowd so maybe he just had a long day!

Food is decent! I have never had authentic Russian food so I don't know but it was sure tasty!

Nothing really Russian here, except the vodka! All the wait staff are Indians!

All in all, classic bourgeois with its cheap plastic, decent music, inexpensive food, and dark atmosphere! Perfect for teenybops! Would recommend something more upmarket at Dempsey for people with deeper pockets!
