My friend was served raw chicken from this restaurant. Told the staff and re-served by the same chicken meat. I'm wondering if they have standard of practice. Thinking of visiting Singapore in future, but is this kind of restaurant i.e. the health and safety issue a main concern in Singapore or not?
Watami is a Japanese dining concept that serves decent enough Japanese food and a fairly reasonable price which makes it a popular choice amongst heartlanders. However, if you are a gourmet and are expecting something of much higher quality then I would suggest that you look elsewhere. One of my favourite item on their menu is the katsudon or pork cutlet rice in general. You can never go wrong with pork cutlet rice and if you are feeling thirsty halfway throughout the meal, do feel free to order some of their beverages as they have a rather interesting drinks and beverage menu. Price is ok if you are not too picky about Japanese food but as I said, there are plenty of better ones out there.
