Had dinner here on 13th Feb. Fantastic

Service 5/5:

Maybe there is a change of management, but regardless, their service today was top notch.

We had a hard/long time choosing on what to eat and the waitress did not get angry and was very patient with us despit being busy as there were other waitresses calling out for her.

Plates were swapped quickly once full. Waitress took the initative to cut open wet tissues for us without us asking as our hands were dirty with the crabs
.

Food 4/5

we ordered

-steamed prawns

fresh,juicy and sweet! (5/5)

-2ppc(2head) abalone

the abalone there is very tender and succulent. tasty too! unlike other places where by its very chewy and hard to swallow
(5/5)

-sharkfin

was quite normal to me.(3/5)

-sri lanka salted egg crab

One of the best i 've ever eaten! crabs were big, meaty*** and sweet! the salted egg sauce is very watery but extremely thick and fragrant(some places they deep fry the crabs with salted egg and that makes the crab shell tasty but not the crab meat. where else the sauce here is watery thus making the meat inside the shell tasty as well)

(5/5!)

-peking duck

Normal(3/5)

-stir fry beef with wine
Beef was tough. not very flavourful as well (2/5)

-Dessert;Deep fried ice cream and gui ling gao

Deep fried ice cream, its not common that places sell that. good chewy texture of the deep fried parts and nice smooth ice cream inside.

Gui ling gao was good as their honey was nice(5/5)

Overall: 4/5

prices are abit steep here for their food.

But the food here are generally quite good(seafood)

Service is top notch.

Will recommend!

I had crabs of 800g and cost me at $44 each, when I ask for the bill, they told me the crab are already promotional price, do not entitled for 40%. The crabs are really small and pathetic, does not look like it weighs 800g.
When you order and ask if they have crab with roes, they say maybe dont have. They dont even bother to tell us when they sent in the crab for cooking.
After awhile, saw another table having really super big crabs, does it means that i dont look rich, i dont get big and with roes?
Not worth eating here. Check with them before you order!

  • Steamed Crab. With no sauce, just plain crab. Disappointing.

The worst place to have a seafood dinner

The food is really very bad. Service is slow because they don't have enough service staff. We asked for extra utensils or ordered drinks but it never came. Asking the waitress to come over for extra service has no effect, as they will ignore you. The chili crab is more like ketchup over steamed crabs, and their serving is small. Space is very crammed and there is a lack of moving space.

Will NEVER return again.
