a hidden gem!!

I was at arab st last weekend and as my friends and I was walking down baghdad street, we stumbled upon this place which was hustling with crowd. I was greeted by this short beautiful girl who was telling us about the promotion which was going on. We were pleased upon knowing about the different sheesha flavors which was available. We had the ambrosian kebab platter which was perfect for us as we came in a huge group. The doner kebab which looks like a burger was awesome and the fish kebab that we also had was so tender and delicious. Everything was full of flavor and didnt dissapoint. We came to know about the new management tt has taken over and service was great. All was more than our expectations and we will definitely come back!!!! two thumbs up!!

A few friends and i went to AMBROSIA restaurant to celebrate my gfs birthday. The place looked nice so we thought to give it a try. We ordered quite a number of dishes with cool mediterranean names from the menu but the food we got was a far cry from "mediterranean". The Moroccan chicken wings were poorly marinated and tasted plain, the chicken steak in black pepper sauce seemed like the chicken had been put out for some time and some hot black pepper sauce was poured on top of it before being served to me. I could go on and on on how bad the food was but that's not the worst part. The customer service was terrible. I could have withstood the bad food but never the bad customer service. The manager at the time was terribly rude and we never felt comfortable. When we asked for the bill they had charged us $6 because we had cut a cake which we bought from outside, inside the restaurant. They had considered it as outside food and they refused to waiver the charge.I'm never going back there again. I made this account to raise awareness on how bad this place is.
