After reading all the positive reviews we decided to buy the groupon deal for the "all you can eat" buffet. The place is conveniently located along boat quay and the shop gives a good feel for yakiniku dining. The staff took some time to bring out the charcoal & setup the table for us, when we started ordering ,almost 10 mins has passed(2hrs limit for buffet). The first order took around 10 mins to come. All subsequent orders took longer & longer to come. The restaurant was barely occupied with around 5-6 tables of diners. The service was bad in that sense. There was a period of time when our table was empty for over 20mins afterwhich we were finally served with a plate with 6 slices of karubi by a black faced staff... All of us left the place feeling unsatisfied, unhappy & shortchanged. The food was good but with that type of service for an "all you can eat buffet" , we can only say it's a negative promotion gimmick. They should do better just with their ala carte menu which looks decent to us. We hope that the service will improve.

I spent $55 per person.

Must tries: Japanese short rib wagyu

I also recommend this place for:
Ala Carte, BBQ
I added 4 photos
  • bbq in progress
  • This should be the single serving of rosu & tenderloin. The staff didn't explain anything to us.
  • kurobuta belly
  • sake & mekajiki sashimi
