Gathering

It's really location more than food. One of those times when people from different nations were at Suntec for conference, this was just walking distance for lunch.

Some of us were early: the earliest bird ordered a coffee to kill time. TOO sweet. Since I was the one who arrived next, I thought I'd save her. We took an empty glass, filled and diluted into 2 glasses. Still way too sweet.
So coffee drinkers- beware! Ask for "Kurang manis". Really, tolong, kurang kurang KURANG manis.

Other than that, the food was good enough..Ayam Penyet set for $6.00. I like Terong Penyet (egg plant) for 2.80. Of course, we shared the rich Jus Alpuket (Avocado. Had side dishes for community feeling: Kempak Udang and Emping.

Much better environment than Orchard. Quiet. Can talk. Waiters are friendly. Really Kampong feeling but in comfort. There's URA parking nearby, so it's very convenient.

Must Tries: Terong Penyet
