Decent food at affordable price

Went over for dinner with my hubby. The time taken for our food to be served was fast. Decent food at affordable price.

Been to Bali Thai in Tampines twice now and not been disapointed with the food. Fish cakes are pretty decent as it the Som Tam. Also tried the Pad Thai which is always pretty tasty and nearly a good as those I eat in Bangkok. The Chang Mai chicken is also pretty tasty but I'd recommend making sure it piping hot from the grill.

Considering its in a mall its actually pretty good and I find the prices fairly reasonable, for Singapore :)

3 of us went to Bali Thai on 2nd Nov for dinner around 5 pm.
We went happyly came out very disappointed with the quality of the food.
Our order:
Appetizer Platter : Soso
Mango Salad:Tasteless different from other Thai restaurant Kangkong:Tasteless different from other Thai restaurant Steam Seabass: Fish was served warm and not hot no hot steam from the plate just heat up with 2 small candle. Even wait for half hour the plate still not hot. Came with high expectation turn disapointed.
Worse still ask the waiter why the fish serve was not hot he suggest to add hot water on it. What a joke!!!!!

Tom Yum Soup: Warm not hot

Steam rice was not hot

Green Curry Chix : Only dishes we deem as ok but came after more than half.

Spending total $105.69 for such poor standard at this place is ready not value for money. There are many restaurant & food @ Tampines mall serve better food.

4 of us went there for dinner as there is a Muslim among us and this place is Halal certified. Upon arrival, we found that they have no record of my reservation despite me calling up beforehand to confirm.  The saving grace was there were sufficient empty tables.  As they do not serve water, we ordered drinks (about $4 each).  Mango juice was ok.  The sparkling dracula was syrup with water but looked good.  A friend had hot lemongrass tea and it was ok.  Iced lemon tea was average. We ordered a steamed fish in lemongrass and it was decently fresh and well executed.  The beef rendang was tender but there sauce was not the most aromatic I have had.  Thai fish cake was good but the chilli sauce was so so.  Sambal kang kong was quite average.  Tom yam soup was fiery hot and quite generous with ingredients.  Pineapple rice was nicely fragrant but I thought the Pad Thai was a bit bland. We ordered 2 dessert items to share.  The tapioca in syrup was quite decent and serving was generous and was enough to share.  However the mango with sticky rice was a let down.  The mango chosen was very sour (should be kept for the Thai Mango salad) and the sticky rice was mushy.  Service was just ok.  Orders were taken correctly and the food served nicely but nobody bothered to help remove the empty plates.  The price was not cheap for this kind of food so perhaps more attentive service and perhaps free flowing ice water is justified.  Ambience was not bad though allowing some relaxing conversation.

What to Eat
Bingsu ice shavings, sweet rice cakes and toasts invade the cafes here. Not typically offered in traditional Korean meals, desserts are served only during special occasions as refreshments, but in Singapore, the tables are turned
