| Velvet Smooth Duper RICH chocolate ice cream!!!
After a heavy lunch, I was walking around the malls where I saw this cute lil shop selling gelato and sandwiches. Oh it is halloween around the corner and all the staff was wearing a tall black witch hat, how cute!
Today i had the 3 flavour cup ($3.80 for 1, $4.80 for 2, $5.80 for 3 scoops). I tried chocolate, mango and rum & raisins.
Verdict: TOTALLY worth every bit of the sinful calories! The mango gelato was light, yet full of fruity mango flavour with bits of mango and frozen green apple cubes. The rum & raisins had quite a handful of plump raisins soaked in rum too. BUT the BEST is still the CHOCOLATE!!! Woahh flavour was intense and rich and the texture was smooth and creamy.. Yummmmm...

| Healthy n filling!
Chanced upon this outlet when running some errands in Republic Plaza. Saw the place neatly renovated and wanted to give it a try since since tummy growling...
Ordered a Sandwich set(soup and sandwich) and a cup of tea.
1. Mushroom soup: Soup's creamy and mushroom aplenty, not bad but i prefer it to be slightly more saltish n luckily salt was within reach..
2. Chicken sandwich(recommended by their staffs): Quite good!
Overall, i quite like the food being healthy (since i always prefer Char Kway Teow... Hehe..) n surprisingly, it was quite filling! |
