Set on a Hill overlooking the blue waters of the Johore Straits, Beaulieu House is one of the very few restaurants that has a magnificent view of the sea. It is located out in the most Northern part of Singapore inside Sembawang Park, a wonderful place filled with greenery and a favorite spot for families and couples to relax and dine. Beaulieu House offers a dining experience ranging from Popular Singapore and Asian Dishes to Mediterranean specialties, accompanied with excellent wine specially selected from all over the world.

Romantic Restaurant overlooking the sea

Beaulieu House has a rich history that dated way back to 1910.

Today, it serves as a restaurant by the seaside which is a rare sight in Singapore. Overlooking the vibrant lights of the Straits of Johor directly opposite, this restaurant exudes old world charm and presents western and chinese cuisine which left me rather impressed too.

Tried their award winning roasted lamb rack and some other dishes. Worth visiting ;)

Pleasant environment for dinner...located in Sembawang Park, overlooking the sea. Unfortunately there was not much of a breeze on the night we were there but thankfully, the restaurant has lots of ceiling fans. There are aircon sections too but those were all full. We tried the salted egg soft-shelled crabs, deep fried mini squids, cereal prawns, tofu with mushrooms & curry fish head, all fairly good serving size & fairly tasty, except for the fish head...for $28, the dish was disappointing. Fish head was quite small & there wasn't much else besides loads of curry. Service though, was prompt and good. We will go again, maybe to try the western selection next time.
