The best part of having muffins here is unfortunately not about the food but the the fun that you actually get out from the fortune cookie slips that are embedded between the muffin wraps. These fortune cookie slips allow you to exchange for another muffin if you manage to answer the questions, mostly mathematical, correctly.
Some examples are:
Q: "What is the name of the border between Pakistan and Afghanistan"
A: "Durand Line" - easily answered by google
Q: "If the value of my ten cent coins is twice as that of my twenty cent coins, and if I had 60 coins in total, how many ten cent coins do I have?"
A: 48
Perhaps if you find such gimmicks refreshing, you might want to try the muffins here just for the heck of it. There are many flavours ranging from durian, apple cinnamon, chocolote chip, oreo and many others.
Each muffin costs $1.20, and there is promotion - buy 5 get 1 free. We actually managed to get 4 free muffins after answering the fortune questions and that brought the price down to about $0.60 cents per muffin, which is actually quite good value.
