Tried the burger, pasta and nuggets.

The latter 2 were ok.. the pasta was passable, and the nuggets not too bad.

But the burger really CANNOT MAKE IT!

If u like ur beef patties having more of a flour-like texture and taste, THIS IS THE PLACE FOR U!

But if u are like a normal, discerning carnivorous birdie like me, don't even bother! I have to say the presentation of the burgers is really not bad, but the taste of the patty was hardly beefy, and the texture was just overly mushy.

And the prices ain't that cheap. 1 burger costs $14.90. nuggets were like $11!!

ps. not very relevant but the night safari shops actually have quite nice stuff to buy - if u are into four leaf clovers, and dried flowers compressed into little pendants and earrings. very pretty..

My second time eating at Bongo over a course of 9 years and the burgers have shrunk considerably due to the law of inflation i.e. get less, pay more.

My friends had the burger meal and I had the ala carte Fish & Chips.

The beef burger was just ok, the patty was too dry though. Came with a small serving of fries and a glass of coke for $13.90. Considering the touristy venue, I think there's only so much you can say for the price but definately not worth it in terms of taste.

The fish and chips was awful. The fish was not fresh and it was too oily. Maybe I should have eaten at Ulu ulu instead.
