    mussels madness!!!!

    16 Mar 2013
for photos and more reviews, visit http://littlemomentsofmylife.wordpress.com/ :)

mussels madness goes on every day, but the time changes depending on which day of the week :) and it’s super!!

choose from either 2 pots of starter sized mussels ($30) or 2 pots of main size ($60). erm, dont look at the quantity on the website -.- it’s not accurate. but anyway, we the starter sized pot with 12pcs in each, to share between the two of us and it was just nice :)
there are so many sauces to choose from! and i think i’ll be back someday to try out more ^^ we got the Meridionale which was a flavourful blend of onion, parsley, butter, saffron, tomato, garlic, herb de provence and olive oil. it reminded me so much of pasta sauce!!! uber delicious. and the tom yam sauce too packed a delicious punch with lemongrass, kaffir lime leaves, lobster consomme and prawns (yup there were prawns in it too! extra seafooooooood!).
you can totally scoop up the sauce with the ladle to drink. *slurpssss* :D the mussels madness also comes with a free flow of thick-cut, crispy chunky chips. loveeee :D

      Sevice is slipping

      16 Sep 2012
Visited this oulet last night, first time for over a year. Last time I went there, each person had their own plastic tub of fries.

They do not seem to recognise the concept of delivering food to a table at the same time. We received two mains, followed by the other two five minutes later.

We had to ask twice for fries and after twenty minutes we got one small dish of fries, to feed three people.

When they were gone, it took three more requests before we received a refill.

Quality of the mussels is still good but doubt I will go back again.

I never liked Mussles until I came to this place

        07 Sep 2012
I never liked mussles at all until I went to Brussles Sprouts. The mussles I've ever had in most places are rubbery at best and unchewable at the worst. However, the mussles here were soft and springy, the sauces were good though a bit blend at first try, but you gotta try it with the beers, fries and other stuff. I think the blend of flavours was good on the whole and we certainly were satisfied by the food we ordered. On the whole I think it was value for money, IF you order the right stuff. I spent about $50 per person with my sis and we got two starter pots of mussles, two beers and a platter of cold cuts and duck meat.

I think that the next table to us got the fried chicken wings, which, in my opinion, looks quite good. The portion too was large. (we might order that the next time.) I like the beer cocktails and the fact that the pints they serve are of a large and healthy size.

: mussels, beers, Moules Frites, draught beer

I also recommend this place for:

Supper, Boys Night Out, After Work, Chillout, Vibrant/Noisy, Waterfront, Live Band
