Well, Carl's Jr. is probably in my opinion the best fast food burger chain!

Yes, it is pricey compared to MacDonald's and even Burger King but come on, i feel its the only one serving authentic burgers as their beef patties taste flavorful unlike the other two which simply feels frozen...

A meal costs about $12-$15 depending on what you order but i assure you that you'll be full by the end of it, even with a huge appetite like mine. I always order the Thickburgers and i personally favourite the Portobello :)

One thing i note is that the Guacomole burger doesn't taste like guacamole... but oh wells the burger was still great!

In addition, it has free flow of its salsa full of tomatoes and onions which i love as well as drinks including fresh brewed tea and lemon to make your own iced lemon tea haha.

My favourite side has got to be the Fried Zucchinis though you have to top up some money ; they're something special. I don't really fancy the Beef Chilli Cheese Fries though ; its soggy and taste like mutton curry in my opinion :x

Great place to hang out as well despite its noisy surroundings and just chat with friends because of its free flow haha and after the burger you won't wanna move around as well ;)

in all fairness, having visited the joints at marina square & nex, i've been won over by some of there burgers in the past months. however, this visit at plaza singapura disappointed me big time.

thanks to the convenience of BBM, i managed to link up with JWNY for dinner at plaza singapura, and we settled for a meal at this joint. typical of JWNY, he needed a little more time to decide what he'd order, so i went ahead to get my order & payment placed. as usual, number tags issued, get out beverage, have our seat & wait to be served.

3min passed, JWNY's meal was served. we continued our chatter thinking my meal shouldnt take too long to be served. not keeping JWNY waiting, i told him to start on his meal, while we continued our chatter about work & life in general. (glancing across, some other patrons that came after us had their meals served shortly after they were seated too). somehow, my upsized carl's catch took a little longer than expected. i prompted the service staff, to which they hurried the kitchen.

not watching the time, JWNY was already on his last few bites on his meal, and mine was still nowhere in site. a hungry man is an angry man, furied by the long delay, i stormed to the cashier with my number tag, only to find the staff having a good time chatting among themselves, while a whole lot of burgers were sitting idle on the respective trays, waiting to be served to the customers.

headed back to the seat, it quite clear that my face was black as the kiwi's jersey. i started on the meal, only to find that the fries & burger have already chilled. the initial thought was to head back to the counter to demand my hot meal, but fearing that the reheating may end up ready to serve for supper, i decided to leave it as is.

if ever i were to visit any carl's jr joint... plaza singapura... too bad so sad, never again.

I like to go to carls junior, order a small dirnk and a beef chilli cheese fries (which i so affetionally refer it to as BCCF) and sit there people watch. I know, its not starbucks, but I get a food and a drink for the price of a coffee at starbucks hahaha!

I love Carls Junior's salsa! The chopped up onion and tomato and whatever is so refreshing to eat with the fries! After some meat, you gotta have some veggies right! but i personally don't eat their set meals cos its too expensive... and too much.

their bacon and cheese burger is nice, but one person eat will puke cos too cheesy and its cream cheese kind of cheesy not pizza kind of cheesy.
