Ideal Place For Weekend Lunch

I love this place for its decor and ambience.

The weekend set lunch comes with an assortment of choices, suitable for even the fussy ones.

Brought my mum for her birthday celebration, and we recieve the cutest longevity peach buns.

They have 2 options for the afternoon tea. You can either choose Oriental Dim Sum Afternoon Tea (E.g. Steamed siu mai topped with abalone) or Western Afternoon Tea Set with Gryphon Tea selections. We picked the Western Afternoon Tea. The pastries are creative. Some are even exotic like the Foie Gras Creme Brûlée.

lousy food at cassia

the egg plant with beef dish was really oily snd unhealthy. the soft shell crab with salted egg was tasteless. the tofu with mushroom was soagy. only the olive oil fried rice was okay. never waste your money at this expensive restaurant

Strong first impression but average food only

Walking in, can't help but be impressed by the ambiance and friendly service staff. However, the food really comes across as average or maybe a letdown after the high expectations given by the ambiance and menu. Would rather go to any neighbourhood restaurant for same quality of food at fraction of the price.

I have to rave about the afternoon tea here - This was one of the BEST that we had! We enjoyed every single item as they were all very high quality, really nothing to complain about.

Just that we were a little unhappy about their service at the initial stage - We were the first to arrive and order for the afternoon tea before the next 2 tables arrived but we were the last to receive the 3-tier set which made us feel we were treated unfairly. Other than this incident, the service was very good, our tea was refilled regularly.
