It's Alright

I have passed by this place many times when going to my favourite instant noodle Hong Kong cafe nearby but have always been meaning to give this place a shot. Finally, the opportunity came when a friend from Chiang Mai wanted me to recommend a place so I figured this would be a great chance to test out this restaurant.

The setting is a nice and simple layout with sufficient space between diners. I wanted to go for the buffet which would probably have been more cost efficient but my fellow taster decided that there was not much exciting on the buffet and so we ordered some food that is apparently rather popular in Chiang Mai.

We started out with the squid salad. It was too sour for my liking but my friend seemed to enjoy it. Next up was the beef salad in which the beef was tenderised. Another sour dish which I chose to indulge minimally.

I did enjoy the Tom Yam Talay (Seafood Tom Yam) as it was not too spicy and Mince Chicken to be rather unique in that it was rather chewy and somewhat fatty as well.

And so what did my Chiang Mai food "kaki" say at the end of the meal? "Its not bad, quite alright" was the verdict. I take that as the food being authentic.

I also recommend this place for
