Too pricey

I tried the lip-shaped chocolate (5 for $5) and Chocolate biscuit sticks (5 for $5). Both of them are quite small in size individually.

Actually, it may seem cheap like 5 pieces for 5 bucks. But no, because the taste is very typical. The lip-shaped chocolate, is milk chocolate. I bought it to try it with my loved one. And it tasted just like cadbury milk chocolate. The chocolate biscuit sticks, it was half covered with chocolate and the other half was the biscuit. The chocolate had nuts topping, and again, it did not taste special. Perhaps, they are not good in finger chocolate foods. From other reviews, perhaps to play safe is to eat their cakes and others. Their service is good though.

Chocolate Cake...glorious

I was so hungry at that time after walking around esplanade mall. And i happened to see this chocolate cake with walnut topping.

The chocolate icing was invitingly glossy so I decided to try it. After all, the Indian staff is enthusiastic with his offering. Ok then. Bought 1 for takeaway and as good as it looks, its really delicious.
Its chocolatey in taste and the cake doesnt taste funny.
Ive tasted other chocolate cakes and it doesn't suit my tastebuds because it is either crumbly, dry , not chocolatey in taste...its just bad.
But surprise , surprise ,,,, this cake is goood. I wanna try the others on my spare time. The only thing that stopping me is the price.

chocolate fondue

love the ambience! great for a heart to heart talking session (: the chocolate fondue looks quite little when i first saw it but dun be fooled! there's actually quite a lot. we ended up drinking the unfinished chocolate :D

went there 2 times and the same staff served us for both times. for the first time we wanted to get white choco fondue but staff said its v sweet, more suitable for kids so we took milk choco. the second time we decided to test her memory and ordered white again and she recommended the same thing again haha :D

the milk choco was alr quite sweet after eating for long!

Must Tries: milk chocolate fondue

first chocolate fondue

i had my first taste of chocolate fondue at none other than chocz at esplanade mall. took notice of the shop when i usually go to the shop next door for monthly hunt for movie posters and postcards.

decided to give it a try with 3 other friends as we were all itching for fruits and some for chocolate. =P

and that was exactly what we ordered. the hazelnut chocolate fondue. the serving was quite alright. there were the usual fruits like starberries. bananas. apples. and some wafers as well as marsmallows.

although the hazelnut chocolate fondue was not what they are famous for. i like it. coz of the nutty after taste and not much of the chocolate. =)

the service staff were attentive to us. or perhaps we were one of the few customers dining in.

but the tables could be better spaced out i feel. they were packed too closely to each other. not sure if it was to be able to hold more customers due to sapce constraint or any other reason.

still. not bad for my first chocolate fondue experience. =)
