Coffee Club (Siglap)

Had to do some work today, so decided to hang out at a cafe with wireless access. Found this Coffee Club place at Siglap and was happy that they had Wireless@SG! Good chillout place. Nice decor, pleasant service, good number of comfy sofas. So good place to chill and do some work

Also important was that they had a nice iced rambutan drink at $5.50. They had small rambutan balls (smaller than your bubble tea balls though) that made the drink a bit more crunchy.

All in all, a good hangout place. Lots of couples, girl friends (2 girls, 3 girls), student couples, and student friends hanging out here. A few families hang out here too, but thankfully, no screaming kids!

I really liked my Iced Mango Tango... it was yummy =o)

I will return again to try the other drinks.

I have had the Iced Rambutan before; and I know that I like it, so I decided to have it again. What I like most about it is that it is not overly sweet. It tastes good too! There is real rambutan that is blended into it, so one of the pitfalls is that there tends to be rambutan strands lodged between the teeth after having the drink.

I had a sip of JC's Iced Mango Tango and it did not suit my taste. It has a dairy taste to it.

I was really surprised to find the place so deserted. It was really quiet and peaceful; which is in stark contrast to the last time I was here on a weekday night. It was packed, and so noisy then.
