Three former students took me out to eat - thanks fellas! - and they suggested this restaurant. There's a retired Belgian Catholic Priest there (though he said he only works once a week) – all the profits go to charity – and he offered the most AMAZING rice pudding if we ordered amazing Trappist Beers. No need to twist my arm. AMAZING!! The rest of the service also seemed good, and the soup I had wasn't bad at all – New England Clam Chowder, maybe my first in Singapore. Fun, good food, simple surroundings. All for a good cause.
