Curry Times Serving Yummy Curry Dishes for all generations

Yummy curry dishes -http://mrupupup.blogspot.sg/2014/01/curry-times-serving-yummy-curry-dishes.html

From the international franchise Old Chang Kee (the famous curry puff store), comes a cafe dedicated to serving all things curry for all generations. Curry Times is located at #01-07, Novena Velocity, 238 Thomson Road.

Mrupupup got the lunch value set of curry chicken with rice, spicy long beans and red bandung drink (Rose syrup drink) at $8.90. Pretty good curry stuff - loved the tender chicken pieces with spicy curry sauce served together with fragrant rice. Other dishes we had were the curry chicken ramen noodles (about $8) and the dry chicken rice (about $8). Mrupupup also loved the decorations of the café with servers in traditional clothes. The great thing about Curry Times was that they serve biscuits - old style biscuits of sugar and it is for free!

It's all about Curry

Curry Times in a brainchild of Old Chang Kee, the renown Singapore brand for it curry puffs and fried snacks. Curry Times specialise in curry dishes. Basically all the menu has the curry in it, accept for the drinks. As I have regular appointments at Novena Medical Centre, I stop by twice for a quick grub last month.

The first time, I tried their Dried Curry Chicken Rice ($6.90). Presented in an old metal bowl, similar to those in 70's. Serving is quite generous, almost cover 3/4 of the rice ( see pic). The curry is fragrant, the chicken is tender, boneless and bite size. It short,
