I booked 20 slots for Mother's Day, and they did what they could to tend to all our requests professionally. The service is wonderful, the food is excellent! the restaurant itself is very well designed.

Ok, so after my disaster during Valentines, coming here was very erm well risky. But im glad/not glad . I took that risk.

This time we ordered the stone grill items. I had ribeye and bf had the lamb rack. And as alwez, i sumhow alwez order the wrong thing. I was rubbish at cooking the meat and had to rely on him to do it for me. It tasted ok but like it wasnt marinated enuf. I dnt know but it didnt do it for me. Bfs lamb was nice. Succulent, void of that weird lamb taste and really good. especially the yummy fats.

I did love the salad and the mashed potato that came with it.
We also ordered sides of the seafood sampler and gratin.

And i think this is just for the experience. Food is nothing to shout about. The seafood was just too soggy due to the oil and fish was so totally fishy i mean eew. The gratin had too much butter or oil and looked weird. I prefer my AH gratin anytym..

I still like the concept esp the 2nd level though cannot eat the stonegrill items there due to the smoke.yeah prepare to smell after that.

Dimly lit with red hearts all over the wall...perfect place for a date, but went as a family instead.

Of the mains, there was a choice between "Plate" and "Hot Stone". Given the name of the place, we all chose to have our food served on hot stones. All mains came with mashed potatoes and a side salad with vinegarette dressing. Very nice!

Paper bibs were passed round to protect our clothes from the spatter of oil.

We had:
1. Sakura Chicken with Black Pepper Sauce - The chicken, supposedly fed with nothing but yoghurt, was tender. Pleasant dish.

2. Ribeye Steak with Red Wine Sauce - Really good. Best thing is, with the chunk of meat on the hot stone, control on the doneness is all yours! No more dissatisfaction over "I ordered medium rare, but got medium".

3. Lamb Racks with Cilantro & Chilli Sauce - Great dish. The sauce complimented the lamb racks perfectly, but might be slightly too spicy for those who have low tolerance for chillies.

4. Salmon Fillet with Ginger Cream - Ok dish. Not sure if it was because we tried the beef before the salmon, but we found it bit too fishy.

5. Green Mussels - Covered with cheese and baked. Yummy!!


Service was good, except for one guy who seemed not to see us whenever we needed something.

Upon entering the premises, I asked for the waiter to recommend me what's good.He recommended me the lamb rack. I find that the lamb rack is so so but seriously, the place is really good only for its setting and atmosphere. Not really posh, but very nice interior design. The balcony is also an interesting place to chill out at.

I have tried the food here twice!!
Once was on the Stone where the Real Volcanic Stone grill your meal to your satisfaction. It was a very good experience.
The second time i came for plating & WAOH the Lamb Rack is Highly Recommended!! Guys...I know some of you out there dont like the smell of the lamb...BBUUTT...this is OUT OF THE WORLD!!
The Best Experience of all was at the Balcony Lounge after dinner, we sat there just to chill out, chat & there is also plasma tv featuring ESPN & other Sports Channel.
For All of you Out there who want to impress your gf or someone important....Go there. Its Romantic, Very Romantic!! You can even call up prior to arrange for something special!!
