I chanced on Dr Cafe in Katong 112 last weekend. I passed by a few times with a few curious looks, as it claims that it serves the best coffee in the world. I would suspect that the coffee would cost more expensive than Starbucks or coffee bean. I finally gave it a try and ordered a cup of latte. To my surprise, the aroma of the coffee beans of the latte is very rich and tasted very good. Furthermore, the price of the coffee is cheaper than starbucks. I also further ordered coffee of the day and a slice of carrot cake. All I can say is that there is a sense of "handmade"good quality of the carrot cake and fresh and rich aroma of the coffee. I am pretty surprised by the quality of coffee and cakes offered by the cafe.

I strongly recommend coffee lovers to try this outlet in katong 112.
