A very complete salad bar!

I like coming here for the salad bar and to enjoy the great view. It's a little pricey but they often run weekday lunch promotions which include the free flow salad bar and a scoop of ice cream. It's also a great way for me to redeem my Linkpoints vouchers. "Atas" Swensen's with a great view

No wonder the queue here is not as long as its neighbours during lunch hours...

This upmarket Swensens really wins on its scenary overlooking the sentosa island and sea (constructions these days, wat a spoiler). SO... to make your $$ worthy, pls opt for the sea view seats.

The more pricey menu here offers less variety as compared to the Swensens "orginal". My friend was quite upset that his curry baked rice not there.

We ordered the following

Meatballs - $7.90

BBQ Chicken Burger - $15.90

Beef Frank Hotdog - $14.40

Verdict:

It was dressed in some rosemary brown sauce with artistic drizzle of blueberry sauce. Meatballs were very small and dry. I like mine juicy and big and springy - not even up to IKEA's standard. Quite a flop..

The chicken burger was ok. Big yes but tasty not really. The only thing i enjoyed most is the potato wedges that came with it. Very crispy and fluffy on the inside.

As for the large beef frank, the meat sauce add rombust flavour to the relatively bland beef frank. Also they have the nice potato wedges too...

In short, nice view for dates but for foodies, not a place to eat.

Dinner @Earle Swensen's Restaurant

1 Harbourfront Walk, #02-117 Vivo City, Singapore 098585

Hawker Food at Unreasonable Prices

I blame the rental.

Food: Oh boy how bad can it get. I ordered the fish, can't remember the name because it was very unimpressive. tasted like average grilled fish n chip from a hawker centre. Unsavoury at its best, a waste of money at its worst.

Ambience: In vivocity, you could overlook Sentosa in certain seating areas. That's probably all I can say about it, because the sun can be a bit too hot, making the restaurant feel slightly arid than it suppose to be.

Value: I felt I wasted my money. I could've gotten the same deal for $8 in a food court with dessert.

Service: Poor service overall in handling my order and bill. Irregular filling of water, and forgot to serve me the dessert till they checked the bill. Not passable enough for the price I paid.

Worst Burger ever!

The worst burger I have had in Singapore! The are obviously making it from a frozen Patty and tastes worse than TV dinners. I mentioned this to the manager but he did not seem too bothered
