Was too lazy to find another place...

My colleague and I had our meal at Fish and Co. This wasn't the first time I was there, my second and well, the impression of the place is still about the same.

First time I was here, we ordered fish and chips. Serving was huge. Fish was quite okay (Dory fish...so you can't expect much freshness in that!). But I ain't much of a fish and chips person so generally after eating awhile it gets boring and food starts to feel bad.

Service was generally quite good except that I was displease when we made payment. It was only after I came back to office then I realise there was a Citibank offer for the fish and chips 1-for-1. The waitress didn't say a single thing.

Second time, I ordered a sambal fish. The sambal wasn't bad. Chilli hot enough for me. But it's bad to eat with chips. Taste abit weird. LOL. My colleague ordered another type, can't remember. Looks abit cheesy but he said it wasn't bad.

THis time around service was alot better. Before we ordered, the waitress ranted all the discounts and offers.

Overall, food was so-so (I had better fish and chips at Hog's Breathe). Price wise, it isn't worth eating there. Service, has improved that little bit.

he Worst Fish and Co. (confirmed)

Agree with the first reviewer, Star1ight.

Went to Fish & Co yesterday. Ordered the seafood platter and kids meal fish & chips.

The fish for the kids meal and the sotongs for the seafood platter are not fresh at all. The sotongs/fish in seafood platter is quite burnt too.

I hv been to a lot of branches and this is really the worst. I thought since Parkway is always so crowded so the turnover of food should be fresh. However this is not the case.

My inital plan was to eat at Jack's place but the place is so crowded. Maybe now I know why Fish & Co at PP is not so crowded.

Worst, I told the server there the food is not fresh. And she gave me a look and just turned away!!! Definetly my last time there!!!!

It's not too bad

Had a quick dinner here. Ordered fish and chips for myself and fish and rice for my wife.

1) I personally found the fish a little soggy. As in it lacked texture. Not quite sure why though. It was soggy on the inside, but it was well fried and crisp on the outside. Was passable I suppose. Chips were ok, though I think they could have been more generous with the seasoning. My wife thought that the rice was ok by Fish and Co standards.

2) Service was above average. They were careful to inform us of the available specials. I had wanted to order swordfish collar but was informed that it might take 20-25 minutes to fulfill such an order. It is a pity that they take longer with some dishes, but I suppose that is to be expected. At least they inform you of their shortcomings.

3) Ambience: It's like a glasshouse for everyone to see.

The Worst Fish and Co.

Visited end of May07 on a Sat evening. Lots of temp working here. They are not attentive and tend to talk among themselves. Seats and tables are placed so near ...oni at abt 15 cm apart... so you can imagine how hard it is to walk out from the sofa seats. Spotlight shines on face and cannot be turned off due to evening approaching. Food wise, rice sucks. New york fish too much cheese. Is the worst fish & co ever tasted. Manager doesn't even speak to customers. Complained to a supervisor and said she will take note and change. Really felt cheated of my money. Any daring souls out there tried lately?
