Frolick on a Hot Day ~ get a small serving

I like frozen yoghurt, its a nice treat and healthy alternative to full fat ice cream.

My only complaint, the frozen yoghurt melted too quickly and the now "liquified yoghurt" drink now was too sweet which made me wonder about the sugar content. I recommend getting a small serving on a hot day, otherwise you will be having a frolick yoghurt drink.

Melts Too Fast

The title says it all.

I guess what did irk me though was that the signboard at the stall claimed that it remained hard longer. Well, it certainly did not feel that way. I guess to be fair most yogurts they are sold in the a colder environment so the melting does not occur as fast but I tried Frolick on a Sunday afternoon and right after I crossed the road about two minutes later it became a liquified version which I could not consume, so there went my yogurt.

Taste wise, I did enjoy it for the times when it was still in a solid form but that was not very long. It did not have a very strong typical sour yogurt taste and was rather plesant.

Not bad at all

I must say that this yogurt took me by surprise. I didn't find that it melt too fast. (Maybe I had the B-cup) In fact, the melting part tasted quite good. It kinda melt in your mouth and doesn't taste as creamy as ice-cream. It is more of a lighter texture than ice-cream. However, I still prefer the taste of Yami Yogurt. Hmm. Yami yogurt seems to be tastier and has more fragrant to the yogurt.

The topping is not bad. I ordered black berries and was given about 6 of it. It kinda look pathetic on the yogurt but i guess they were already quite generous given that the cost of black berries is quite high.

The place is attractive with bright colours. However, it is located at the roadside which means that it can be quite dusty. I seriously don't think that eating there is a wise choice. It is more of a take away counter.

Marigold yogurt there you are!

I LIKE THIS YOGURT LEH!

Taste wise, it tastes like marigold yogurt! Sourish and yummy, especially with my strawberry toppings <3! I like the texture also! Dun have the small small round round stuff left on the spoon after eating. Like what the other reviews mentioned, it doesn't stay hard longer. But it also didn't melt very fast! I thought it was alright :D

anw, how do you get the buttons arh? SYTs never give me leh ):

and why must they situtate it in Holland V!

I like it

I love frozen yoghurt so I was a happy camper when I saw Frolick at Holland V. Since then I have eaten it a number of times and came out pretty satsfied with it.

Only 2 flavours are avaliable atm, peach and natural...I lean more towards natural.

I find their pricing interesting as the medium cup (B) is $1.30 more than the small (A) but comes with free toppings thus encouraging people who want toppings to buy the bigger cup. Toppings are served generously unlike Yami Yoghurt.

I would like Frolick more.....if their yoghurt did not melt so quickly especially when compared to Yami Yoghurt. Its probably due to the fact that it Frolick serves in cupboard cups and not foam cups (not debating the 'green effects' just want the yoghurt to stay hard longer) Frolick definitely does not live up to stay hard longer than ice cream. I think even ice kachang does not melt as quickly :P

I would recommend the cup A or B but not the C since the yoghurt melts too quickly. You would be left with a puddle of juice before finishing 3/4 of the yoghurt

Service: Friendly
