good tasting and reasonably priced food, efficient service

Ate the griddy burger and aloha Hawaiian - both were tasty and appetizing. Their classic waffle was good too. Good value in terms of price paid. Service was efficient but not super friendly.

no service but need to charge service fees

They charge 10% and 7% service charge, but you have to make an order yourself by going to the counter and collecting your own food and cutleries. still, the food is good!

Value for money, worth the visit. Griddy brings waffles to a next level

Visiting the store was a difficult choice: I'm an avid waffle lover and there are so many options. Which one should you choose? Which one should I buy? After an incredibly tiring and head bashing inducing math exam, savoury waffles at Griddy's sounded like a good reward. To be honest, I've past by Griddy's more than once, going to Westgate only to purchase Johan's lovely baked goods. The concept sounded interesting to me but as a student the price put me off. It was easily and $7-9 for a meal, and later I found out that they additional GST and service charge was included as well. Also, when they first opened, their savoury waffles only consisted of three types - in my opinion not very appealing. While their concept of having waffle 'burgers' or sandwiches was pretty unique and reminded me of Strictly Pancakes, the negatives weighed out the neat idea.

Quick fix for waffles!

See all photos at http://www.pepperminter.com/2014/04/griddy-gourmet-waffles.html

Here's another waffle hunt that took me all the way to the west from the north! Dropped by Griddy Gourment Waffles on a weekend afternoon and there was almost zero crowd.   A small shop front with a simple layout. They don't offer a extensive menu but I guess it's still alright. I had a hard time trying to decide if I wanted a savoury or sweet waffle.... and yes, I went ahead with the sweet one.   The portion isn't very big and I was kind of disappointed. I ordered a plain waffle with 2 gelato ice cream and thinking that 1 ice cream would be too little to 'spread' around the waffle. Well, in the end I had too much ice cream and it almost drown my waffle.   Mike liked his savoury beef waffle even though the portion was small. It definitely didn't even full half of his tank.
