Good caesar salad!
12 Aug 2012Full review at: http://princessandangmoheatsg.blogspot.sg/2012/08/hans-caesar-salad.html
The salad portion here wasn't great but the overall quality was miles better than most other places.
You cannot expect Han's to have the best of anything, it's a one stop shop for nearly everything but overall the quality is high with good, satisfying food at descent prices. It's not the cheapest, it's not the best but what they do is good and consistent.

Hans is a sold out!
11 Apr 2012Selling out to Filipino and China cook/waiters. Imagine ordering Chicken Rendang, being cook by China/Filipino National who don't even know what a real rendang taste like!
Nonetheless it was absolutely dissapointing. It tasted like chicken curry. Mind you, the rendang I grew up with are thick, with spicy and sweetish taste. This one's plain tasteless! Not spicy, no taste, just like plain curry. Wow...
These places have sold their souls in order to gain max $$$. What's more it's 11$ for a rice and some curry, overpriced! No thanks will boycott!!!

Microwaved Supper
27 Sep 2010Looking for something to eat after the F1 races, a friend of mine brought me to this hidden find way up in Upper Thomson. For awhile, the trip involved going through quite a bit of fog, and it felt like I was being kidnapped in some ulu area. However, on arrival, it was an interesting scene with a small bustle late at night of mostly young students chilling and watching soccer.
Down to the food, I decided to order the set of the day, which was the Curry Chicken Set ($9.80). The starting soup was a nice warm cream of mushroom. Unfortunately, the curry chicken was not good. I had the leftover parts of the chicken and the potatoes in the curry tasted like it was microwaved. Guess I should have expected this given that the set meal was probably served throughout the day. The dessert was a peach that came off a can.
In summary, I would only come back if I was around the area or if I desperately needed food in the wee hours of the morning since it is open 24/7.
