Dear Hans, if you are planning to soak your fish and chips in salad dressing then please pack it seperately for take away orders. I have been eating at HANS for more than 15yrs in thomson area and ever since HANS decided to be a 24hrs business your food has greatly disappoint me.
Had a quick bite at Hans after a lousy dinner somewhere else. Was enticed by the variety of pies, cakes and fried rice.
Totally great. Friendly staff and very accomodating to my minior changes in how to prepare the fried rice. All the staff at the counter were having great smiles while trying to fulfill every order. Tables were generally clean and the staff were quick to clear up the messes of the last visitor which made the place looked neat and tidy. Great service and the best deal was they didn't charge me for it... Dinner at another resturant on level 2 was just the direct opposite...
Food taste above average. Slice of chocolate cake was also good. Coffee too sweet but that's me for forgotten to say less sugar.
Mrupupup just likes to eat. Check out the photos of Hans Cafe : http://mrupupup.blogspot.sg/2012/08/hans-cafe-pastries.html .
Hans Cafe at Velocity @ Novena Square #01-11 (Thomson Road) sure has many types of cakes and pastries for one to eat. Mrupupup could not resist and bought their chicken pie, kaya pandan cake and their peach tart. All the items bought was in Mrupupup's tummy within a few hours! Yummys! Guess Mrupupup loved their pastries. Chicken pie was great with chicken and potatoes, eat it while the pie is warm. The kaya pandan layer cake was very nice and fragrant with pandan. Peach tart just one huge peach on top of the tart which was good.
If you're looking for a place to dine with the family or friends, then Han's is the place for you. Though average in taste, Han's offers a wide array of different kinds of affordable foods from western to Asian that will please everyone.
