Hard Rock Cafe celebrates World Burger Month with a exclusive food and beverage menus, available only from today till 30th June. This year, Hard Rock chefs around the world were given the freedom to create burgers that captures the flavours of their city and after reviewing more than 160 burgers, Hard Rock Cafe Sentosa will be offering 4 scrumptious varieties.
Diners can anticipate high quality meats (certified Angus Beef patty, no less), fresh toppings, delicious sauces and rich, melted cheese, and pillowy buns. Let’s start off with something close to our hearts, shall we?
The Satay Burger ($25) features distinct local flavours rendered by the sweet Asian peanut sauce, as well as crunchy cucumber planks, arugula and sriracha mayonnaise for texture and hints of spicy oomph. Take one firm bite and savour the blend of flavours. Yummsss!
A burger (looks more like a sandwich to me though) that won’t look out of place at breakfast, lunch or dinner, the Golden Gate Burger ($27) is constructed with sliced salami, grilled onions, gooey Swiss cheese and pickles and thousand Island dressing, sandwiched between crusty sourdough. An appetizing burger thanks to the piquant, peppery flavours.
The Giardiniera Deli Burger ($30) is a glorious stack of beef patty, sliced roast beef (yes, MORE beef), roasted red pepper, giardinera pepper and melted provolone cheese. I can see this being a hit with carnivores!
Filled with all the good things from fried mozzarella cheese, pepperoni, sautéed mushrooms and pizza sauce, the massive Big Little Italy Burger ($27) will definitely gratify the growling tummy. Highly recommended!
To complement the delectable burgers, Hard Rock Cafe Sentosa also offers a range of appealing cocktails, perfect for winding down after a long after long, hectic day. There’s no doubt that a hearty burger and some alcohol are instant mood lifters, so don’t miss the chance to check out the limited-time only menu, which will be available till 30th June 2016.
After going to sentosa, we had a great meal. Dish served is of quality and service is good as well. We are planning to go over to sentosa and most likely may dine in there if we are near the area. Recommend to all.
This is one restaurant I went that has really bad waiter attitude. I mean he does his work but does so in such a disgruntled manner that it was a discomfort for all. The entire table of 15 guests all took turns looking at him but he simply kept on passing unnecessary remarks - the type of remarks spoken to himself, done without eye contact but meant for everyone to hear them. Well, The food is good and cheap for a touristy location, but I wouldn't go back and waste my money on such bad service.
It was a hot and sweltering day at Sentosa and I needed a nice air-conditioned place for lunch.
My colleague and I had a heavy breakfast and so we decided to order an appetiser and a main dish and share.
We ordered the following:
- Grilled Chicken Chop Salad: $19. This was a nice salad. It had mixed greens, topped with thinly sliced chicken and topped with crushed pecan nuts, cheese and tossed in homemade vinegrette and tangy BBQ sauce. I like the finely sliced chicken pieces and the pecan nuts. The slightly spicy hot sauce also gave a nice touch to the salad. Portion is big and definitely good to share by two people. I don’t usually eat salads, but this was a unique salad and I will order this again. Try it!
- Smoked Beef Brisket Sandwich: $23. This was really good. Its slow-cooked beef brisket topped with hickory BBQ sauce and crispy thin sliced onions on grilled sourdough bread. Its quite a handful to hold, and best eaten with your hands. The portion of fries was also generous. The side of coleslaw and ranch beans in tomato sauce was home-made and tasty. Highly recommended!
I also had the Iced Lemon Tea, which was refreshing and the server didn’t add lots of ice and thus it wasn’t diluted.
The restaurant also has a daily set lunch at $15. The menu changes daily and is good value for money. I will come and try that one day.

Comparing this outlet versus the one at Cuscaden (read here), I'd rather much prefer this place. It seemed cosier perhaps because it is smaller, and the way the stage is positioned to the audience. Cuscaden's is more like a concert stage, whereas you can get a close-up of the band playing at Sentosa's. The staff are extremely friendly too, perhaps because it's a more touristy area. The burgers are quite average at both places though. Although this time we tried their Mushroom & Swiss Burger ($27), the meat was not really marinated like the previous time we had. Smothered With SautÈed Mushrooms And Swiss Cheese, Topped With Crisp Lettuce, Vine-ripened Tomato And Red Onion. It just didn't taste as delicious as a few years back. Perhaps they'll be relegated as just legends... Nonetheless, the Famous Fajitas (with Grilled Chicken) ($28) did not fail. There were 4 pieces of soft and warm tortillas in a paper bag, together with rich sour cream in a metal bowl, and ample scoops of cheese, fresh guacamole and veggies. Came separately on a hot plate was their sizzling Grilled Chicken atop capsicuns and onions. You get to choose beef, chicken or combo ($32). It's quite a hands-on dish, i.e. you have to wrap the chicken and wrap like a Popiah yourself, but I felt it was just nice, not too messy if you don't get greedy stuffing too much ingredients into your tortilla. Plus, it seems much less "sinful" than the 10 oz. burger and fries. If you think Chilis do their Fajitas well, then check out Hard Rock Cafe's. This is as good too.
