Hokkaido Fish Market is a food store selling Japanese sushi, located at Square 2.
Eaten there for many years. Glad that there's an experienced chef around every time. The staff there are kind and the food is worth the price. Love the saba fish, wagyu beef set and the assorted sashimi. Fish is fresh and the beef is tender too. Price is considered reasonable.
Ordered the chirashi set which came with a chawanmushi and m soup, and they were all very insipid.
The soup was weak; the chawanmushi was sad. The chirashi was run of the mill but at the price point I would rather skip this as there are other better restaurants in the area
At a price range from $15-25, it is definitely worth to try their different set meals. They sell cod fish, sashimi, chirashi, saba set etc.. In particular, I enjoyed their lunch bento set which comes with sashimi, saba, salad, fruits, soup and rice. But do be early as they have limited lunch bento sets.
The stall itself is a bit small and squeezy, so try not to go in big groups or you must make reservations to avoid a wasted trip. They do sell other seafood varieties which comes in weekly and you can check from their facebook page. They have a stall selling take away sushis as well.
