went there on a friday morning 11am , it's was our first time there.
the dim sum are really nice , however rice roll was served not warm / hot enough abit cold. pan fried carrot cake was not cripsy enough , too soft
while BBQ Polo Bun , Malay Cake and Egg Tart are really delicious .

Had always been a fan of imperial treasure. But esp dislike this particular outlet as I find the staff pretty rude.

This is probably the only imperial treasure outlet where you can experience rude service and the rush(perhaps because they are located at Takashimaya) and curt replies.

Rushing to take your order, rushing to clear your food(waiters keep asking if they can clear your plate) ...

Once we went there for lunch. They were rushing and keyed in the wrong order. To top it up, the captain ordered two portions of the wrong dish. When the food arrived, one aunty ate one piece by mistake and we quickly informed the staff of the mistake made. No apologies were given. The captain admitted that she keyed in wrongly. We told her its ok, just take it away and as long as she brings us the right dish and also please do not charge us for the mistake.

End of lunch, after paying, we immediately remembered and asked whether it was in our bill and the manager replied that it was charged and that she would check and get back to us. Perhaps its really too troublesome for her to void and swipe again. She came back with a curt reply,' But YOU ATE ALREADY, I cannot take out!'. People around thought we did not want to pay after consuming the whole thing. Quite embarrassing...

This is very disappointing. Such a nice restaurant with such lousy customer service. When they made a mistake , the patrons have to bear it. It not the amount of money but its really the principle. As least we were thankful that they did not serve us expensive dishes wrongly, then we would have to pay for an expensive mistake which THEY made...

They should have apologised after admitting their mistake. Take the wrong dish back, let the customers know the actual one will be served soon. Ensure that it is taken off the bill. Well.... is she really wanted to charge us for eating the wrong one, she should have only charge for ONE not TWO. SIGH... it really leaves a VERY BAD AFTERTASTE.

Will probably never head to this outlet ever again.

Complacency. Please do not forget that service is as important as the quality of food. No matter how fantastic your food is, your service can cause patrons to lose their appetite

Chinese New Year feast with a couple of friends. Had a spacious room to ourselves. Had yu sheng, shark's fin soup, abalone/sea cucumber, soon hock fish, roast duck, baked lobster, fried glutinous rice, tang yuan. Item to recommend would be the shark's fin soup, comes in a whole piece.
