Headed there for a bite to eat and a drink. First waiter ushered us inside. I said I'd like a bottle of Veuve Clicquot to celebrate the end of a holiday.
20 minutes later no champagne and another waiter comes to take the food order.
"Would you like some drinks?" says she, "Oh I ordered a bottle of Veuve when we came in can you chase it up?" 5 minutes later over comes the bar manager with a glass of sparkling... "Sorry I ordered a bottle of Veuve about 20 minutes ago says I" "so you don't want the glass?" says he "well it's not a bottle" Says I "We've run out." says he. "so why didn't the last 2 waitresses tell me that? Says I.
Food comes, it's lukewarm and not fresh. The so called "fresh" spring rolls taste like they were bought at seven eleven and thrown on a plate! The Salad is limp and tasteless. The Squid is ok.
So to sum up, don't waste your money here. There is no service, the food is average to poor, and the drinks cost a bomb!
Overpriced is an understatement. Mediocre food, no authentic taste and very slow service. The staff didn't even seemed to be bothered to attend to us. The decor is excellent. The place turns into something for adults-only at night, so dinner diners who are not interested in that (such as myself) should go dine around 6.30pm. Not recommended though if you are looking for good and authentic food.
