Thursday (20 Dec 07).
After leaving Bar Cocoon, we wandered about for a while and finally found ourselves here. We arrived at around 3 AM and we ordered a jug of whiskey-coke for $45 net to share among us. We found it really mild.

This is actually the 2nd time I've been here. I like the transparent flooring here that gives it an apparent depth and the lights within the flooring. There is also another dimmer section closer to the DJ console with an open space that looks like it's for people who want to dance the night away. Kandi Bar definitely remains as my favourite place in Clarke Quay because of the music. The last time I was here was about 8 months ago, and I recognised a few of the tracks the DJ was playing. While I was here on this occasion, I recognised 2 of the tracks that the DJ played: Josh Wink – "Higher State of Consciousness" and iio – "Rapture". Ironically, the genre of music featured here does not reflect the type of music that the Hed Kandi record label markets.

It was 4 AM already and we decided to call it a night. Next up - supper.
