No reviews yet? First, then..

The first time I apssed by, I was merely curious- and didn't get to try this place out because it was closed on that day.

The very next month I went to Haji Lane- I had to eat alone because my friends were late... When I entered I was greeted by a warm smile. I think there were only 3 people who manned the place.
J-pop songs were being played very softly and the lighting was just wonderful.
It was a dark and gloomy afternoon- and this place.. was perfect for a quiet meal for one person. (PS I was the only one in the resturant) I loved the ambience!

Ebi Fry Kareben - I have to tell you- I LOVED IT! They had 2 other small sides which I tried- pickled item (most bentos have them) and another one I didn't recongise. I could only taste that it had been soaked in sake and it tasted real good! The kare is comparable, or even nicer than the one I had at Meidiya. The taste is a little sweet- very much like the authentic japanese curry~

Green Tea Tiramisu - I'm not a tiramisu type of person- but the photograph looked good so I gave it a shot. Seriously it was quite a big serving, and it costed me less than $6. Why not? When I sunk my spoon into the tiramisu and took a bite... I fell in love. I don't know how GREAT tiramisu is supposed to taste like, but I really, really liked it. The cream wasn't too thick- and the cake bit at the bottom tasted nice. Definitely green tea.

I enjoyed my lunch there very much. I believe you would too!

Must Tries: Green Tea Tiramisu
