Home-style japanese cooking which eveyone adored!

Kensai's is a little bit of an egnima. set in liang court, they should have lines of japanese queueing up just to try their food! yet this is far from the reality.... why? maybe because they are just a little too hidden. and lets face it, the Japenses residents dont really chill out at liangcourt anymore do they?

1) the food is comfort wholesome eats, from the good bento boxes to the traditional styled japanese curries, its all good stuff

2) the beers are super cold.... i knocked back a few kirins when i was there, good stuff  and i will return for more

Overall a highy under-rated place which i can see my self reutning to over and over again

Kensai's Kitchen is Good and everyone should go!

I love this restaurant for its simplicy and down to earth cuisine.

It doesnt try to be anything it is not.

Menu: Good curries, great bentos
Beverages: Ice cold beer was great
Ambiance: A little dated but still nice
Service: SUPERB! the ladywas very nice and checked on us multiple times!

Highly recommended!

Love the super home style cooking!

Kensai's kitchen serves up hearty JUapanese home style cooking and its one of the best in Singapore. Situated in Liang court, This place is easily one the the japanese favourites. I am not sure why there arent many better reviews.

Healthy Japanese Cooking

Kensai Kitchen is a franchise from Japan that offers healthy Japanese home cooking.

At $19.90++ for lunch and $24.90++ for dinner, one gets to pick from a Japanese buffet spread. Start with the salmon sashimi before going for some of their recommended home made items such as the Dashimaki, a multi layered grilled egg and Nikujaga, a beef stew with potatoes and onion cooked in soya sauce.

Whilst taste of the food may not be strong, the authenticity is retained from its Japanese roots to create what one would get in a homely Japanese kitchen.

Worse than mediocre restaurant.

More expensive and worse than tampopo.  Lack of variety in choices. There are much better options in Liang Court.

Wrong place to open a below average Japanese restaurant where there are much more stellar choices.
